Moscow. Earthquake tremors were felt on Russia's Kuril Iceland on Wednesday. The intensity of the earthquake on the reactor scale has been measured 7.5. According to the news agency AFP, United States Geological Survey - a 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck Russia's Kuril Islands. It is being told that the  earthquake struck at a depth of 56 km at 1:49 pm local time. However, no damage has been reported so far.

A tsunami of 7.5 magnitude earthquake was felt in the North Pacific Ocean on Wednesday following which tsunami warnings have been issued for close beaches on Russia's Far Eastern Kuril Islands. Aerial surveillance of tsunami is being monitored. According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake was felt in Severo, 219 kilometers south-southeast of Kuril, in the north of Japan.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that there is a possibility of dangerous tsunami waves within a thousand kilometers of the epicenter. The warning also states that tsunami disasters have come away from the earthquake center after the earthquake of this caliber earlier. The Japan Meteorological Agency said the tremor was a strong one, with a magnitude of 7.8 and could cause a slight change in the sea level around Japan's shores.
