New Delhi: 12 foreign Muslims have been arrested in Patna, the capital of Bihar. All are from Germany or Italy. Police is conducting a thorough investigation about these foreigners caught from the mosque of Patna Kekurji locality.
There were 12 foreign nationals hiding in the mosque located near Gate number 74 of Kurji, Patna. All have come to Patna in connection with the propagation of religion. They are especially spreading the relevance of de-addiction and religion. When the people of the neighborhood got information about this, they started creating uproar. People said that the corona is spread and foreigners are kept hidden here. The police took all the foreign nationals with them on notice of the uproar.
However, to prevent the infection of coronavirus, the state government has decided to lockdown by 31 March. On the first day on Monday, the lockdown in many areas of Patna is seen to be ineffective. Fish, meat and betel shops opened in Agamkuan, Kadamkuan Nala Road and Patel Nagar. People were seen walking around and chatting. At the Mithanpur bus stand, people were seen riding on the roof of the bus.
By 31 March, after the decision of lockdown, a large number of people are going to their village. On Monday, a crowd of people were seen at the Mithapur bus stand in Patna. People could sit on the terrace if they could not find a place to stand inside the bus. People are traveling at risk, so that they can return to their villages. People are also being charged arbitrary rent.
So far, two corona patients have been found in Bihar. 13 new patients suspected of corona have been admitted to the PMCH in 24 hours. Their sample has been sent for investigation. 520 people who have come to Bihar from other countries have been put on surveillance. 119 suspected patients have been kept in isolation. The OPD of Patna AIIMS has been closed indefinitely. Only emergency patients are being treated here.
Even after the lockdown, people gathered at a wedding ceremony in a community hall in Patna City on Sunday night. The police took swift action and removed the people and sealed the community hall. The wedding ceremony was completed in the presence of 5-6 people.
Lockdown is not affected in Phulwari. The shops are open. People are roaming the market. The draft did not show the effect of lock down. Shops Khuli, on-road vehicle operations also continued as before. Shops opened and trains also started running in the morning. Later, the police stopped the vehicles and closed the shops. Lockdown did not show any effect in Fatuha. Autos, trucks and other vehicles are operating here. The shops are open. Public transport bays are running in Bakhtiyarpur. Shops are also open.
