The Importance and Structure of the HSC Program

HSC is a crucial two-year program in the Indian education system, covering classes XI and XII. This program prepares students for higher education and future careers, offering three main streams: Science, Commerce, and Arts. Students can choose from a wide range of subject combinations, such as life sciences, pure sciences, and various business fields, ensuring a comprehensive and well-rounded education.

HSC examinations are typically held in March, with students required to achieve at least 40% in 5 out of 6 subjects to pass. Science students also have practical exams, contributing 30 marks to their total score out of 100. The HSC is administered by 52 approved boards across 30 states in India, ensuring a standardized and nationally recognized certification that opens doors to higher education and professional opportunities.
