The billionaire business house Mahindra Group on Friday launched its Mahindra University in a virtual manner. This university will provide world-class, future education in the country. Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group and Chancellor of Mahindra University, said in a statement that high quality education has the power to change the individual and the country. Mahindra University will strive to provide a more balanced education with the latest technology with liberal arts to prepare future leaders with a holistic global outlook.

Speaking on the occasion, IT and industry minister from Telangana, KT Rama Rao said that with the help of technology, business or social complexity can be made easier. Mahindra University, backed by the prestigious Mahindra Group, will surely work to meet the growing demand according to future needs.

Mahindra University will operate as an autonomous university and the new-age curriculum here will be designed by taking full advantage of emerging technologies such as data science, blockchain and data analytics.

Mahindra University is a part of Mahindra Educational Institutions, a non-profit subsidiary of Tech Mahindra. Spread over 130 acres, the university will offer undergraduate, post graduate and PhD courses. Mahindra University also incorporates Ecole Central School of Engineering, which was established in 2014.
