Kia Motors on Friday introduced its much anticipated compact SUV Sonet in India. The company first introduced Sonet at the 2020 Auto Expo held in February. This is the third model introduced in India by Kia. Earlier, the company has launched SUV Celtos and MPV Carnival here.

The sonet will be directly contested by Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport. Although the company has not yet given its price, but it is estimated that its price can be between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 12 lakh.Kia Sonet has some special features, including 10.25 inch touchscreen with navigation and live traffic, air purifier, Bose intake-speaker audio system with sub-woofer, ventilated driver and front-passenger seats, LED sound mood lighting, over-the – Wireless smartphone charger with air map updates and cooling function included.

For safety, the sonnet includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, HAC, VSM and BA, front and rear parking sensors, projector fog lamp, tire pressure monitoring system, auto headlamp and child-seat anchoring points.
