China Sends Medical Aid to Pakistan to combat Outbreak of Coronavirus

The Foreign Office said that Pakistan’s ally China has given full support to Pakistan in the fight against the deadly viral infection.

Islamabad: A special aircraft carrying eight medical experts and relief supplies from China arrived in Islamabad on Saturday to help Pakistan prevent the spread of the corona virus. Pakistan’s foreign ministry gave this information.

Significantly, the number of patients infected with the corona virus in Pakistan has exceeded 1400. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Foreign Secretary Sohail Mehmood welcomed Chinese guests at Islamabad airport. The Foreign Office said, “The Chinese medical team will remain in Pakistan for two weeks.” The team of eight medical experts from Pakistani doctors and health experts will help prevent the outbreak of the corona virus.

The Foreign Office said that Pakistan’s ally China has given full support to Pakistan in the fight against the deadly viral infection. Also, the office said “Chinese assistance sent to Pakistan includes 12,000 test kits, 300,000 masks, 10,000 security suits and help to build a separate hospital.” Grants from private sources from China A considerable amount of money has also reached Pakistan.
