The UP government has taken a big decision due to the growing Coronavirus infection in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh will now have only five days of work i.e. from Monday to Friday markets, malls, mandis, non-essential offices will open and other activities will take place.

Lockdown will continue in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday and Sunday although economic activities will continue and banks will open.

Let me tell you that in Uttar Pradesh, corona is spreading fast. The number of corona infections is increasing daily in the state. Keeping this in mind, the Yogi government has also declared a complete lockdown of three days in Uttar Pradesh, which started from 10 am on July 10 last night till 5 am on 13 July.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to implement the lockdown on the last two days of the week on Saturday and Sunday in the team-11 meeting. It was decided to install a mini lockdown to break the transmission chain of the fast spreading corona infection.

The UP government has directed to do the work of sanitation and sanitization of all the markets during the weekly bandh. Apart from this, industrial units have also been asked to do sanitation on their own on Saturday and Sunday. During this time all the Covid hospitals have been asked to ensure oxygen supply.
