The US space agency NASA has warned that a meteoroid body about one-and-a-half times larger in size than the UK’s London Eye is moving towards Earth. According to an estimate, the height of the London Eye is 443 feet and these meteor bodies can be about 50 percent larger than that. NASA has named it Asteroidal 2020ND, which can prove to be quite dangerous.

According to the British agency Birmingham Live, this meteorite body will be closest to the Earth on July 24, then its location may be 0.034 astronomical units. According to the agency, “Potentially Hazardous” (potentially dangerous asteroids (PHAs)) is the scale in which space scientists include elements that are measured as threats approaching Earth. Therefore all those with a distance of 0.05 au or less Asteroids are considered to be potentially dangerous PHAs.

An astronomical unit equals about 150 million kilometers, that is, the distance of the sun from the Earth. NASA said that according to an investigation by its Jet Propulsion Lab website, this asteroid may be composed of about 4.6 billion years old of particles and remains, when our solar system was created.

Many other large planets like Brahaspati, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune also form such huge bodies whose movements can be observed and studied. Actually asteroids are basically fragments of planets. These fragments have survived since the birth of these planets. These four planets include Earth, Mercury, Venus and Mars.
